Damla Sonmez  is a Turkish Actress.Damla Sönmez is of Circassian origin. Damla Sonmez, who has been involved in a lot of productions on Turkish television, studied at the Mimar Sinan University State hothouse for 2 years as part-time violin and 1 year as piano.

After finishing Joseph French High School, he completed his theater education at Paris Sorbonne University as a scholarship student at Yeditepe University Theater section . She worked with Stuart Burney at the Black Nexxus Academy in New York.

In 2009, Damla starred in " Bornova Bornova " with the role of "Best Supporting Actress in the 46th Golden Orange Film Festival ". Sadri Alışık Cinema and Theater Awards , "Hopeful Young Talent"  , Flying Broom Women's Films Festival , "Young Witch" awards.

She became the Young President of the festival at the 18th Broom Broom Women Films Festival in 2015 & she won the 21st Golden Boll Film Festival & the Best Actress Award at the Milano International Film Festival (MIFF) for her role in the film Sea Level.
